ELI5: what is deleuzo-guattarian anarchocommunism
// explanation
What is Deleuzo-Guattarian anarchocommunism?
Deleuze and Guattari were philosophers who imagined a way of living together without governments or money, kind of like a huge gift economy where people share freely [1]. They believed that instead of having one big boss telling everyone what to do, society could work through lots of tiny connections between people making decisions together [1][5].
Why did they think it was important?
Deleuze and Guattari saw that even the smallest governments (like the ones run by dictators) could be really harmful and controlling [2]. They thought real freedom meant people could be different from each other in lots of ways—not forced to fit into one mold [3].
How would it actually work?
Rather than having a central leader or even a democratic government, their version imagined countless small groups of people organizing themselves and connecting with other groups [1][5]. People would give and receive based on need, and everyone would have freedom to be who they wanted to be [3].
Why is this different from regular communism?
While regular communism might still have a government running things, Deleuzo-Guattarian anarchocommunism means no government at all—just voluntary networks of free people helping each other [1][2].
